I've met and known some cracking Geordie lads in my time if I'm honest. Also had a brilliant late session in South Shields after we played them up there in the 90s, never bought a drink all night. I'm sure there are some absolute dangers among the support, but I don't begrudge your average Geordie any success at all if I'm honest. There are a few Premier League teams I'd like them to beat in a final tbh, Liverpool are just top of that list. There is no team in World football that I would want to lose to that shower of cultists. Not one.
