Defeatist attitude?

I simply said lets not add any pressure on shoulders when we should treat this like any other tough away game. To be so fired up for this could be costly. Play sensibly and take the sting out of the game.

Bingo. Some people talk like this is the 80’s when you could get away with legitimate two footers and tackles from the behind. Any rash tackles will be punished severely. Keep 11 on the pitch, waste time, take as long as possible over goal kicks, throws in etc and utilise smart “tactical fouls”. It’s basically the blueprint from Mourinho in 13/14 at Anfield. No slippy G today unfortunately, but the tactics should help us a get a point, which is a fanastic proposition.

Ok serious post now. Think there will be one goal that settles this, maybe 2-1 or 3-2, and am also envisaging a horrific decision by the referee. 95% odds are that they benefit from it. Can Wayne have an influence on the game? All of our players have had a full week off. Theirs played on Wednesday. No excuses for anything less than 100% effort and commitment by our players. Make the fresher legs count.

Keeping it tight the first 20-30 minutes is vital. They'll come at us like bats out of hell. Any tiredness will be noticed as the match goes on and moreso if they haven't scored.

Not sure how much the fresher legs will count given I’m expecting us to have about 30% possession and spend most of our time chasing and attempting to stay incredibly focused for the whole 90 minutes.

We’re on County Road taking on board some light regrrsahment before we stroll over to our old place....we’ll it’s nearly here and from dreading this game there is that believe in me that if we compete, show no fear there is a goal in us.

First twenty minutes are crucial and how the referee handles those early tackles will be important.

A Rooney winning volley could see me launch a one man assault on that Norwegian Hill behind their goal!

Just get out of there with a 0-2 ffs
