We were good today we just lack an out an out striker who is quality enough to penetrate teams but it’s coming. An you can could sense they were worried I weren’t at the game but it sounded like their fans were subdued for the most part.
If this is not addressed we are always going to be off the pace. The football is unrecognisable from last season, but our inability to convert chances is seriously hampening our chances of challenging for Europe. Not just half chances, we have missed gilt edged chances against arsenal, Utd, Chelsea and the RS. We really should have picked up points in all those games and certainly had one victory.

What we need is quite simply a top goalscorer.

Walcott Siggurdsson Richarlison

Aubaymang

Walcott Siggurdsson Richarlison

Salah

Walcott Siggurdsson Richarlison

Martial

People get what I mean, a top striker (and an upgrade on Walcott) and we have a very good side make no mistake.

Still fuming at pickford the utter fool.

"Give them a bit of time and when they settle down, they'll realise they can come to places like this and play and hopefully start getting results."
Fellow pundit Graeme Souness, who played for and managed Liverpool, said Marco Silva's side had set down a marker of the level of performance the club should expect from big away games, having held a Liverpool team chasing the title so well for 95 minutes.
Souness said: "They'll be greatly encouraged by their performance today. They'll have the disappointment of losing the way they lost, but the way they turned up, there is no inferiority complex.
"Big teams have come here before and not wanted to take Liverpool on but that was not the case with Everton today. They felt like they could match them and for the most part, they did. Idrissa Gueye in midfield along with Andre Gomes were more than a match at times for the Liverpool midfield.
"The supporters should be encouraged by the performance. Everton were a very good team today. If that's going to be their normal standard away from home at big football clubs, they can be delighted with themselves."

I've finally got over the fume. Obviously can't stand Souness but the above is a fair assessment. Overall, not a bad performance. The new players have settled in and we're making chances.

As for that lot, they're nowhere as good as they think they are.

In silva and brands we trust!! I couldn’t agree more with you and in the end we have walked away with 1 point but it shows how far we have come in such a small amount of time. It’s coming and as long as we show improvement and keep signing like we did in the summer then it’s only going to get better. I think we will do the top 4 at home or at least a couple of them

The top 6 drop such a few amount of points that it´s an achievement to beat them anywhere. Plus, it´s been a while since we had Goodison bouncing.
Honestly I think that's too big of a compliment. Most of the top 6 genuinely aren't very good and haven't been for a couple years. We should be getting more than a few results over the course of a season is we want to be top half let alone top 4-6

Plus we do not have enough different players scoring.

If Iceland or Richey don’t score we are in trouble.

That was a MASSIVE match for the cult today. I see it as just a bump in the road for us and a more flukey goal will never win a derby match.
Well done to The Blues.
Next up, two straight home wins.

We could have massively dented their Title hopes today, and took a massive step to change our mentality when it comes to the Derby (and big games in general)...instead we gifted them the luckiest goal possible and once again left empty handed...
