Silva and brands have been here five months and have done a great job getting the players in we have needed. a centre forward and possibly another wide man have to be next in and hopefully we can be more clinical up top

Thought we played fantastic second half bar the last 5/10 mins and were miles the better team.
 

Gomes MOM, just oozes class, and is only just going to get better and better. If he keeps it up Barca will either have him back, or we'll end up having to break the bank for him, would also imagine he'll have a fair few other clubs looking at him, really hope we can sort a deal for him.
 
I haven’t read this thread because I’m fuming so apologies if I’m repeating what’s been but if they had last years keeper we aren’t losing that game and we might have won it , we’re certainly going forward .

Don't think it was a poor touch more of a good save. Keeper did well and Walcott was unfortunate
 
Give Barca whatever they want for Gomes is January, we simply have to keep him. The levels between him and the cloggers in their midfield today was vast.

Can't get over that goal, they are just the biggest biggest flukes on the planet. It's a shame that Hicks and Gillett didn't bring them down, it really is.

The only thing worse than that club is the scumbags that support them.

We controlled the game pretty well second half, but can only really remember Sigurdsson's speculative effort. They had the Mane one on one, Origi bar. Do think we could have done more.

Exactly. Onwards and upwards. We don’t need to go from being the worst side in the league to ragging Liverpool and Chelsea about on their own patches after 12 months. Let’s get the points for top 6 and win the cup.
