Why is there always one idiot in our side that costs us derby in derby out.

A 0-0 draw dents their title challenge and give us the foundation to build from.

All ruined by that Mackem clown.

Seamus had a very good game and gets my vote. Everton as a whole very unfortunate not to score, but took the game to the home side for the whole 96 minutes. Siggy had a quiet game overall, Guye poor in the first half but improved in the second, Gomes another RR performance, Keane and Mina faultless, Digne very good, Bernard good in patches. Given that most people expected it to be another Sunday stroll in the park for the rs it was an impressive performance that bodes well for the future. COYB :drunk::pint2:

Our new players are now tainted with the curse. Honestly we'll never beat them now.

In the next few derbys the only thing in Pickford's mind will be that clanger and it will work against us

No the new lads will think we well matched them there and were just unlucky. Pickford is a cocky bugger and will forget that clanger in the way that Goalies do ….theyre bonkers.

Losing on a fluke goal deep in stoppage time is gutting.

That said it's a far cry from from some of our recent 4-0 defeats there. We were just as good as them and lost on a fluke mistake.

I would honestly rather lose 4-0 than in that manner. Its absolutely heart breaking.

I like getting what I deserve, if we get tonked and deserve to lose fair play, but not being robbed.

Yes but it cost us the game and that's what matters. Yes players make mistakes, Distin in the semi final did and plenty of other times our players have made mistakes. But to make it in the 96th minute of a game at Anfield when it's 0-0, is just unforgivable. I don't care if it's kneejerk, or not I'd quite happily sell him in January. It just means we have to go yet another season, unless we draw them in the cup, with an awful defeat at Anfield. All players make mistakes, but very rarely at times, when they matter so much. It means that thousands of blues, we have an awful night and a appalling week of abuse from their RS colleagues and people at school. People have already said on here, they have got into arguments with their spouses, losing is bad enough but to lose in that way, is just too hard to deal with. I'd be quite happy to never see him in an Everton shirt again, he also has kept them in the title race.
i agree with you on the first bit until you say that he should be binned in january. that's where you're off base. the lad is England's #1 keeper, and there's no contest. today is his fault, but unless he did something to offend your family, any shouts for him to go are pretty extreme

Any keepers mistake cost teams a game - just talk me through Van Dkes attempted shot that caused their winner, he had his head in Hi hands when he thought he sliced it over!
