It's just I prefer Richarlison on the left and I think non of our Strikers are prolific enough so the extra pace wins it. Also DCL could switch with Richarlison or Walcott onto the wing if we want to be a big more fluent. I can't see either of the other 2 striking options being as comfortable.

Dont see whats wrong with the team he posted.

Lewin is not a first choice started obviously but he could be utillized here, some one has got to give VVD some sort of ariel challange.

Having Richrlson out wide will also give their attacking full backs more to think about.

Will bernard worry them?

Maybe in time to come but ive seen no evidence of that at the time being. Theres more to occupy players than skill, ariel presence and pressing put defenders under a lot a pressure.

DCL won penalty at Anfield last season. I just think of the players available that is best team for this game. Bernard and Lookman will present more problems against a tiring defence. It's all opinions though so we'll see what happens. I am a fan of DCL I suppose and want to see him do well even if I do think he's not quite ready. I like Bernard as well but believe he is more of a central attacker but on current form Sigurdsson absolutely nails down that position.

I have both of them playing at some point. Anyways we need to set up with our game plan in mind not theirs. Richarlison and Sigurdsson are the only 2 nailed in attackers we have at the minute the other 2 positions are between Walcott, Tosun, Bernard, Lookman and DCL. Horses for courses I say. Depending who you pick decides whether Richarlison is striker or left wing. Might even be worth trying him on right wing in some games. Back on topic I just want us to find a way of competing and hopefully winning.

It wouldnt be Bernard or Lewin it would be Bernard or Richarlson whos going to occupy the full backs if Lewin plays.

Some times its not always about playing your best 11 just for the sake of it, you have to look at your opisitins strengths aswel. Lets have it right Richarlsons not polished yet as a CF, VVD will have him in his pocket, as he will with Lewin. Lewin however offers more in the air, let him worry about that, sacrifice Lewin and let him do the dirty work and free Richarlson up which allows him to do damage.

If i was Arnold id be alot more worried about marking Richarlson than Bernard.
