I've left myself off the forum until this morning.
Went to the game, just going to make a few points. Not sure if its been mentioned but it wasn't great getting in last night. Roughed up steward tactics, I know we all get searched at games but they really were taking the mick. Big crowds and pushing and shoving of women and children. It wasn't right and as a club Liverpool should know more than anyone to not allow situations where people were getting crushed outside. It needs bringing up.

The game itself I thought was totally bizarre. When I saw their team I thought it was a massive gamble and one we could take advantage of. When I saw our team I thought it was negative, lacked pace and was set up for a draw. If I was Silva, when I got the team sheet, I'd have gone straight to 4-4-2 (you cant change a team only tactics) pushed Sidibe right wing and gone two up top. We invited pressure and conceded four shocking goals, from four shots they had, it was bizarre, Pickford didn't have a save to make yet conceded four times. I missed Rich's goal as I went for a pint but the game was done at 3-1. The third goal was a farce, three centre halves, pone long ball, goal. They started to argue with each other so you then know everything tactically and player wise has gone and the manager has lost it. Keane or Holgate should have been dragged off, I felt for Sidibe. Bernard is a must to start games. Second half we never gave it a go, ok had Kean scored it gives a fun 5 minutes, but we never got into them from the off. We are a scared team, lacking in confidence. It has to change today.
I have seen the incidents when I got home. Its difficult to judge at the match but - Robertson - why wasn't this reviewed? How did TAA stay on the pitch and why wasn't it reviewed and finally, DCL (by the way one of the worst strikers I've ever seen) but its a penalty all day and a probable red card? That makes the game 2-2 against ten men...…… why wasn't this looked at?

Everton FC, you got hammered by a team who missed two of their three midfielders and two of their three strikers. Congratulations
They literally slowed then virtually stopped letting people in outside till YAWN was finished. Every year outside Mordor is bad but that was a disgrace, a lfew of those stewards do Goodison as well, and would be well minded to treat us away fans in the same manner as is expected over here in the real world. They just act as a law unto themselves, imagine how bad it's going to be in the cup with an extra 3000 fans on top. But knowing that lot we'll be lucky to get 50 extra tickets as those money hungry rats will find some excuse to drop our capacity so they can fit in a few thousand Olaf's and Ole's from good old Norway paying top dollar instead of our £30 quid locals

I work in Dublin!!! - Maybe a transfer to London until next season ;)

Most of your colleagues won't give a toss here.

I should also say -

Three of my mates down here are Liverpool supporting faux Kopite turbo bells but as none of them are from Liverpool, have any relatives from Liverpool, have never been to Anfield and all chose to support Liverpool at some random point - they're easy ignore.

As a Manchester City season ticket holder I was sincerely hoping that you could help both us and yourselves ( and probably all the rest of the football world) last night . I was still hopeful when I heard your opponents team.- less so when they announced that Mike Dean was the ref. .
I agree with the comments on here about treatment outside the ground - queuing to grab our restricted view seats ( at least there you are shielded from the objects and liquids deposited by their fans) Attacks on coaches anyone?
As the game progressed I realised quickly that our mutual hopes would come to nought.. The Premier League may as well wrap up the trophy now and present it as an early Christmas present . I know that they don't ahve a big screen at the ground but I wonder if the connection to the VAR referee had gone down. What a fiasco. How do Robertson and Trent whatsit escape scot-free and as for the ( apparent ) rightful winner of the Ballon D'Or- reviewed in less time tan it took for them to break upfield after our "penalty" and score..To compound it- on BBC later Danny Murphy smirks and says that they were probably surprised because VVD never makes a mistake. My telly was in serious danger at that point.
No - just give it them now and let the LiVARpool infested media begin their long awaited celebrations..
Good luck for the rest of the season-genuinely hope that things improve for the People's Club.

Bloke on Twitter posted this image and I'm still baffled by this tactical horror show from Marco. 3 of their goals almost entirely down to him.

Leicester play with one CF who is quick so we sit dipper and not giving him the chance to break. Liverpool play with 2 quick CF so we sit near the half way line and give them free reign for over the tops.
That’s the logic of Marco Silva.
