It's a bit early to say that, but there is a certain satisfaction. I mean, that was as one sided as it could get, and it STILL. WASN'T. ENOUGH. Hang the possession stats, 3-2 shots on target shows everyone that the RS are just men, like any other team.

A bit of that psychological complex has to be gone now. Those loveable reds played their hearts out and DID NOT WIN. Against what remains a very depleted Everton side.

In the end it reminded me of the first fight between Creed and Rocky, by round 15 Apollo Creed just wanted to leave the ring, and had an iconic look of exasperation when Rocky beat the count by a second in the 14th round. Yesterday, I could honestly see a bit of that in Liverpool in the last ten minutes.

Also, Jon-Joe Kenny is now a man. Now for England to turn him into a shyster who wants to play for City...

A brilliant shot on MOTD2 of Klopp staring at Sam as if completely hypnotised!! Psychology is a very powerful thing and sportspeople are very vulnerable to it - especially when the stakes are high.

A fit Coleman, Bolasie, Baines, Keane, Jags & hopefully a fit & focussed Barkley certainly makes a huge difference to what we went with this weekend!

If we could have a quality addition or two ready to rubber stamp on the 1st, we’re a different prospect.
