For my own amusement, I thought I'd take a look at RAWK and see what their opinion's are - not that it counts for anything.

1. We're gonna smash them so hard the FA will form a committee to discuss the performance, quickly deciding they should be relegated based on this game alone.
2. Either way, should beat them. They are proper [Poor language removed] right now
3. Everton can't defend and we could really embarrass them.
   
4. If we get an early goal then i think they'll collapse and then the Evertonians will start calling for Martinez's head and then we have a laugh.
5. There is every chance Everton get hammered on Wednesday, especially if John Stones keeps trying to play out from the back, and gives up the ball to the likes of Firmino and Lallana pressing him.
   
6. Sturridge, Origi, Firmino, Coutinho all on the pitch, [Poor language removed] anihilate them
7. They are [Poor language removed] [Poor language removed].
8. I've watched their defending lately, if Origi and co are up for the fight and don't give them any time on the ball, constantly fighting etc.. they'll force a ton of errors. See how Nesta likes playing out from the back when he has Origi sprinting him down
9. I like his dancing to Jason Derulo though. They should keep him.
10. Martinez is a conman. Conned people into believing his Wigan side and players were a lot better than they were, basically because they happened to play a more possession based game. He did that until relegation meant he could con the people no further and he moved on. He is doing the exact same thing at Everton now.

I think the.....ahum, author (being polite to respect forum etiquette) has been surfing our hallowed GOT and plagiarised my own scribblings in respect of we should IMHO approach this one.

For instance, in point 5, all the ne'er-do-well has done is replace Bambi-on-ice Sakho with Stones, and Lakaku and FM with Flamingo and Cortinagnome.

warning : the following is a true story and contains some mehness which could offend

Normal derby day
Dates are in calendar for weeks if not months - no space left for any other activities ,
I usually wake up early , bounce out of bed. If its weekend wear my 1995 Joe Parkinson jersey all day , workday then take a half day and wear it in the car on way home. Workday spent talking to non RS supporting colleagues to get them to admit they want us to win and love hearing them bash the RS.
Nervous excitement from night before turns to hope and belief regardless of previous results.
Put the channel that the match is on 1 hour before the coverage starts and hide remote.
Go through team in my head , youtube previous golden goals and wins in the derby to get the blue blood flowing.
Put Z cars on repeat for about an hour and a half.
Othe people in my house leave. Harass RS mates and RS family members via social media.
Unbearable person to be with for 12 waking hours afterwards regardless of result.

This season Derby day
Knew derby was coming up but wasnt sure when so have arranged to go out tonight for a curry with an in law tonight.
Could cancel but dont want to even though he is not exactly great company, non football fan aswell!
Will be more interested in a menu than an Everton teamsheet
Check match result on internet when I get in, or skim match report in the morning.

Hope we win of course but I havent been so meh about it in my 30 years a blue.

Nothing wrong with any of that. If you press stones then he does make mistakes, and by right Liverpool should beat us tonight if they are any good.

I don't think they are expecting a backs to the wall job from us though to keep the unbeaten draw run going ahead of the cup.
