Thought Stones was excellent, as was McCarthy - who was all over the pitch today. Besic played well but gave a few stray passes in dangerous positions. Besic, McCarthy and Barry provided a lot of cover as a unit though. That's where a decent performance defensively was built today.

What I saw of Browning was impressed. Get him infront of Hibbert FFS.

My only issue with the formation today was that it was putting a lot of pressure on the front 3 to pull some goals out of no where. When Mirallas went down the pressure rested on Lukaku and Naismith. While I really like Besic, McCarthy, and Barry they aren't goal scorers and they aren't creators. The only creative player in the side was Baines down at LB.

Going forward we certainly missed Nais linking up play because he was up top but I was made up that Roberto tried to shore up the defence by putting Besic in there and we never lost so it worked for me.

Hope everyone is rejoicing over Jags wonder goal, certainly papers over the cracks. They had 7 attempts at goal in the first 20minutes, doesn't matter though eh? Jags scored a wonder strike in the 90th.

Sorry for being a killjoy but we were rubbish again today and were lucky. Barry should've been off after 8 mins that was a penalty and they just continued to have chance after chance. Balotelli shoud've had a hat trick.

I struggled to see what formation we were playing again. £28mill for a centre forward to be shoved on the wing.

We got away without conceding 3 but we should have done and I for one am fed up with it. Tactics and substitutions at the minute are laughable.

The only real threat we had today went off injured and we didn't trouble Mignolet after that. Knee jerking is over we are NOT playing well!!!!

On a plus note Browning has to start if Seamus is not available.
