After all, what could possibly go wrong? Right.

Watching these is like repeatedly witnessing surgery on your own child, after it has repeatedly gone wrong before.

Good note here, azul. Solid and heartfelt. We could even win, ffs. Have you seen that so-called defense?

I don't know, I keep seeing Kevin Mirallas making a free kick. Bet the over.

(sets alarm to get up in time)

Anybody got a cup of belief?

There's room to bully whoever plays right back and left back tomorrow. Step forth Lukaku. Expose a flank and get the back running at them when they have been softened up.
We need a mosquito type buzzing around Gerrard to keep him occupied, he's nearly findus lasagne so it's not a legs job more a ball side at all times to cut off the easy out ball.
McCarthy is where I see the pivotal role being, its a marathon between him and Henderson, straight shoot out, covering one another box to box the entire game.

I'd absolutely love a late sub Tony Hibbert winner, some 30 yard pile driver that knocks the place cemetary silent.

Anyway, get on Everton to win with more than 2.5 goals in game.

The further away from his fixture he is - the better for us. No matte how late the sub is, if he's on the pitch and it's the last minute winner, it's more likely to be an own goal.

They aren't that good, problem is neither are we at the minute. It all points to a high scoring affair which normally means it will be 0-0.

For once, win, draw or lose, I hope we turn up and give it a real go. Battle like eff, hassle them and make things tough. It's not just a win that will lift the teams confidence, a hard fought draw wouldn't be the worst. Just don't get hammered, because if we do, confidence will be terrible facing a tough euro trip and the Mancs.

Good stuff, will be shamelessly borrowing this.

Sodding hate derby day. As things stand I fully accept that we'll get bent right over tomorrow, and I've made my peace with it (sort of).

However, I know that tomorrow morning will turn up, and I'll feel a bit more positive. I'll take the boys to football practice, watch the youngest lollop around enthusiastically but with absolutely no ability whatsoever. A bit like the Stracq. This will make me feel positive about the effort we'll put in, because after all it's a derby, we'll definitely want it this time. Extra positive thought for Everton.

Then I'll watch the older lad kicking everything that moves. Everything. This will make me cheerful, partly because there are some kids that go there that really need such piping down, and partly because I'l be reminded of no nonsense players like Joe Parkinson. Another positive thought for Everton. Get right into these FFS.

These extra positive thoughts will breed in my head like small furry blue creatures in the middle of mating season. One of the kids, with the relentless, misguided optimism of youth, will say 'We'll beat these today dad'. Against my better judgment I'll say 'You never know, we owe them'. And I'll find myself starting to believe it as well.

Then, in all likelihood we'll get bent over. Sake Everton, every single time.

Their defence is sh*t, our defence isn't but plays like it is .......... there be goals tomorrow.

Difficult to be positive after 15 seasons of trying to win at the cess pit. Maybe Rom can morph in to Kevin Campbell

In some ways, it's better we're playing so bad. If we win or even draw we'll be happy.

It'd be 100x worse if Lfc were as bad as they are at the min, an we were flying...because you know we'd get beat after spending the week convinced we'd batter them.

26 - 2 kopites. :(
