Without doubt , when your argument is without merit you just point fingers at the grammar or the way the point is delivered , pathetic .

I'm loath again to use collymore as an example but our friends across the park sent him some abuse that could genuinely be called vile and his response was (when appropriate ) refer it to the police otherwise get on with it . For me if its not bad enough to be forwarded to the police then it's not bad enough to complain about .

Spot on mate. Comes with the territory the sort of standard 'do your job' response he and the other feller and Thompson have been getting. They clearly want to shift the terms of the debate to 'abuse' because the substantive criticism is hitting home. An arl arse trick that wont be fallen for.

This needs to be sent to Collymore btw, I'm sure he didn't like the Echo's online 'bullying' of him either.

Shocking AND VERY VERY CRAFTY.. The echo have basically put out a message on behalf of the club that they won,t talk to anyone and sent out a message which is designed for fans to turn on each other eg bad tweets and forum messages.

NSNO = Divide and Conquer. have we not seen this before when they are under big time pressure find away to split the fanbase because a united fanbase it too much for the club to handle.

Amazing that he brings up Elstone's blogs - he stopped because he had no PR sensibilities at all and accused Evertonians of sabotaging the club. He brought that on himself.

And the whole tone of the article from Prentice... "screw you, you're a bunch of teds, I'm great."

And the absolute irony of moaning about abuse after what they did to Collymore?!?

The piece wasn't really about him though was it? It was all about the club having no choice but to act in the way that is being complained about.
If I am honest I think he comes across as fed up at having to write another trite piece under instruction from the editor under instruction from the club, I mean it's the same old regurgitated shoite time after time, how nasty those supporters are, mention the blue union, link them with all the badness, it's neural linguistics. He never took that attitude to questioning the board of directors when it was the LFC board of directors and the Kopites were demanding answers then did he? (and by far more 'muscular' tactics I might add).
