Yes but it’s quite unique to dump a barrel of turd on one of your own community in this fashion. Celebrate LFC success by all means but don’t take a stance that crows over the other side on the city.

I just don’t understand why a publication would dump on big section of its readers. Particularly when they have been Called out on it in the past and promised to make changes.
It was done very deliberately and he knew he would cause offence.
I know the best thing to do is block them, and I will in future.

Is it? It’s just the facts. Plenty of other things to have a go at the Echo rather than one of the few things they’ve got right
 

Can anyone realistically name an Everton player that would deserve a place on that team? We've been utter pants and they have been smashing it.. the only ridiculous thing is calling it a combined 11.
 
come on let’s leave it alone. We are local rivals but that’s where it stops at this moment in time. They are European champions and are steamrolling the league like never been seen before. Let’s not even start on the recent head to head records. Let’s just accept where they are right now and hope and rejoice that Carlo can manifest a victory in the cup. They’ll have a second string out but this one feels different for some reason. Let’s just try and beat them before we start comparing because currently, there is no comparison

We occupied the bottom three the other week whilst those lot are unbeaten and 10 points clear at the top

The one thing I will say is the Echo are bell ends for doing the article
 

I hate the rs with a vengeance, but in this instance we just have to accept it.
The echo though is just a rs propaganda rag don't buy it, don't read.

I’d say the thing that they’re bell ends for us promoting it on their Everton page and Everton twitter account. The article itself gets done every year so I’m less irritated about them actually DOING it

Not asking for them to underplay the RS achievement. Just don’t think they should be writing a piece that so openly and pointedly denigrates us.
