Only things I can take from that is Barry has to be starting every game because Beto is a waste of space and Garner isn't good enough for CM.
Not saying had a great game but you not think was down to the other two aswell. Just looked unbalanced to me i like kdh but doesnt really do the defensive side of the game. More wants to carry the ball forward and gana will look to chase the ball instead of holding his position. So garner was left in the midfield.

That was on Moyes in my opinion, he had Ndiaye playing right back and Jake playing as the 3rd CB which allowed them to press us back with Kerkez
Liverpool gambled in my opinion. They only had the energy to play that way for 45 minutes, so the broke out the inhalers and went hammer and tongs in the hope they could get a lead and defend it. It did work, but barely.

Grealish was the best player on the pitch (again).

This reminded me of the league derby in October '87 where Liverpool were all-conqering that season, we went there and dominated but still lost 2-0 to two pieces of sublime skill.

This Liverpool are nowhere near as good as that side though, these are truly mediocre.

Seemed shell-shocked first half, no idea why, their first goal was high quality, called fair due at the time, similarly the Wolves opener, when a side plays one touch stuff and work the finest margins to score then you can only appreciate the skill to realise the moment and succeed. Second goal didn't knock the stuffing out of us because it was never in us to begin with, again well worked good control quick feet and finish. Pickford won't be pleased. We came into it more second half and looked to stretch the game more and be more adventurous, they could stand off a bit as they had a two goal cushion, good play and good goal Gana. Least they made a game of it after the break.
The first half reminded me of leeds, we couldn't get near the ball in the middle without suffering nose bleeds. They are a well oiled and functioning machine, they've topped up the quality and are the side to beat this season. We gave em a run, but we're a side in it's infancy, we could also do with a ruthless cold blooded striker that's all power but we aint there yet.

Don't like todays referee, hope someone spits in his after match coffee. Someone with gonorrhea.

To add, can understand why Moyes was looking at Luiz and McGinn.

If we’re going to insist on Beto over Barry, which I agree with, we need another player up top with him. It’s just too easy and predictable to defend.
I don't think an extra striker next to Beto would have helped our inabilty to retain balls when we we spent most of the first half whacking the ball back to their goalie

Dewsbury-Hall is good at supporting the striker from the attacking mid position from what we've seen so far

I think most Prem teams would get eaten alive playing 2 up top these days
