I wasnt gonna post anything today after that [Poor language removed], i just have so much dissapointment flowing through my veins.

Where do you start after such a poor performance, we made an ordinary team look good with our total ineptitude in possesion it was frightening to watch.

We had no creativity apart from arteta who at least tried the right things. We made bad decisions on nearly every occasion we got near their box. Why the **** was donovan not hugging the sideline evertime we had possesion, he seemed to be tucked in allowing neville the space wide, NEVILLE FFS. The one time 2nd half we actually gave him the ball with space in front of him he skint insua and put a good ball to the back post.

As for the goal, **** me, a comedy of errors, 1st donovan takes an extra touch in their half and gets robbed of the ball, then further on neville shows stevie **** face gerrard inside onto his right foot to cross the ball when everyone knows he loves cutting in on his right side like that, show him down the line ffs, use your brain. The howard is more concerned about pushing UGLY then concentrating on the ball.

I agree with what a few others think, we bottled it again against them ****s and i have had enough of them kinda performances in derbys, grow balls lads and produce performances we know yous can and have done recently against city and arsenal but sadly not against ****ers.

Only saw the second half. Poorly organized on the goal, whether it was Neville or Howard, it was the way they sorted it together that failed.

If I'm Donovan I would probably make runs to the inside as well. Hugging the line produced a pass to LD's feet with zero space, a pass back to Neville and the ball switched to the other side of the park. Occasionally a forward would run to the flag in front of LD but they couldn't seem to get the right movement off the ball.

On the play where Donovan was able to beat three defenders, the ball was played decisively through midfield. How much decisive play through midfield was there? I didn't see much in the second half I watched. The long ball wasn't on, and without playing through the middle Everton had no ability to break them down.

LP decided to concede the space to Neville and he didn't seem to have the heart to take it. He often received the ball with a lot of space. Just pushing it opens up more options for LD. LP left it open of Neville to run off the ball into the spaces created by LD, but he never ventured forth not even in the latter stages of the game.

That for me was the main observation. Liverpool FC looked like a club that expects to win and refuses to let anything prevent that from occurring. I'm not sure why, but I didn't ever get the idea that the Toffees believed they could win the game. Without belief there is no courage. Without courage there is no confidence.

For me the difference between the Man City game and today's match came down to belief and courage.

[Poor language removed] Day....[Poor language removed] Game.....we lost the battle both mentally and then we tried to mix it physically with them, and we lost that battle as well.

FECKS SAKE!!! Whatever happened to composure, pass and move, wear the opposition down... we just lost our heads out there and it was painful to watch.

We're better than that, time to lick the wounds, and I hope really hope that we learn from that disaster, and start to play football agin...because that wasnt football out there!

I feckin hate derby day...(except when we win)

I'm sick of losing there .
I've just had to go on TalkSport and front up from yday . Not a pleasant experience .
Oh , and Saha can fuk off tomorra for me - sorry Tocc' - .

L.C.A.B. hits himself continually on head with toffee hammer .

No Stevie P and probably no big Fella either yet we'll probably go and beat Chelsea! (Stranger things have happened)

Rodwell should drop in for Fella and Bily for Pienaar. Just hope Moyes really has a think about our right handside, Coleman needs to have a go at somepoint in place of Nev/Osman

Hang over gone but still feeling hurt over the result.
Not a good idea to down so much beer before, during and after the derby. It just make things worse when we lose.

We cant play well every game, unfortunately and it sucked that it was this game we had to turn out a poor performance. To me it looked as though we didnt use enough width. There was hardly any linkup with Baines and Pienaar and same could be said for Neville and Donavon although I dont expect as much from those two.

It wasnt poor, it was lazy, heartless, effortless. Sheer Embarrassing.

Liverpool were awful and were there for the taking, we just couldnt be arsed

It was poor more than anything, it looked lazy because we didn't have a clue what to do in possession. Our tactics where give it to Arteta and hope he makes everyone else play.
