Some fans who have never seen him play should have no right to be upset about this transfer is all I’m saying.

It holds just as much worth as me say being sad about Numancia selling a player.

i hope Walsh does well, he's a tidy little footballer and if he's not going to make the first team here any time soon, then he's better off plying his trade elsewhere.

Completely untrue mate. He rated him his best MF player, Davies included. Walsh would have accepted the move because he can't see a way into the first team.

Friday was not a good day. Barkley was always going , disappointing moneywise, Walsh has always had the potential we just never got the chance to see it in the 1st team due to injuries. Certainly early season he was better than Beni Baningime for the U23s . Then Beni got his chance and at times he looked better in the 1st team then in the U23s, maybe the extra space helped,. And that’s the crux of it for me, I never got the chance to judge him in the 1st team. At 20 he was unlikely to suddenly emerge as a squad player in a highly competitive area for us ..... just would have like to see him get a chance. Ah well, gone now. Good luck to him , who knows he could be playing against us in the PL next season for Bristol City.

What, so because I live in London, so have less chance of getting to see the youngsters playing, I'm not allowed to be upset at the club selling what it widely regarded to be one of our best youth prospects for what seems like relative buttons, even though plenty of people who have seen him have posted on here, and he's been bigged up by various members of the club coaching set up? Um, ok, good one...

But I dont think thats true. He USED to rate him as his best MF player, but then how come he only played in the first 3 matches for the U-23s this season? He wasnt in the squad since September. Wasnt it somebody on here that said Unsworth dropped him due to attitude or something like that?

What's living in London got to do with anything? I was referring to posters that I know for definite have never seen him play a minute of football and are whinging he got sold.

For some reason I forgot that u23 etc games are actually streamed sometimes! Either way, my point still stands.
