But I dont think thats true. He USED to rate him as his best MF player, but then how come he only played in the first 3 matches for the U-23s this season? He wasnt in the squad since September. Wasnt it somebody on here that said Unsworth dropped him due to attitude or something like that?
He went on loan to Birmingham.

He's only on a 2.5 year contract though so hopefully if he does become what a lot of us think he can, we can buy him back in a few years.

..that represents the risk Bristol think they’re taking. I guarantee he’ll be on a longer and improved contract if he puts some fine displays together.
He has been riddled with injuries, so selling him because of that was plain stupid - the best of the bunch including Tom Davies if he had kept his fitness - the next Bobby Colin's in the making my older brother rated him as good as that!

..he’s terrific, Joey, but I accept these decisions have to be made. Only time will tell if it was an error of judgement.

Truth is, I'm fine with this policy if we insert Barca style buy backs in to every deal. These guys need to be playing and if it doesn't look like they will do so here within a few years, sell them and buy back in 2-3 years. It's a reasonable strategy that is short of giving up on them, but doesn't require them to waste their formative years in the U23s.

It’s been posted on here he isn’t living his life right off the pitch & Unsworth wanted him out. Him leaving is not for footballing reasons.

It has been posted here. Not sure there is any truth in it though. He went straight back into the U23s on return from Birmingham and ex-team mates say very good things about his attitude.

Ermm. He went on loan to Birmingham City mate.
