Good luck to Walshy....led by example whenever I saw him play. The loan to Brum didn't work out but it's a learning curve, he'll make a very decent career in the game. Injuries stopped him getting some media headlines but very highly rated at the club.

Similar in stature to Jay Spearing who did well in the unders across the park but couldn't break through - did well at Bolton initially but clauses on appearances stopped him playing for a spell as the Trotters were skint. Think he's at Blackpool now.

But back to Walshy, he's a great player who can put his put on the ball, make a tackle and set the tempo of a game - hope where he goes look after him and that he goes on to have a decent career. It's time to break through or go...and in this case, it's the latter. Best of luck should he make a move.

being linked with a move to Bristol City for £1 million+. Bit gutted if we sell him. I always thought he would make it at us. Maybe his size is a factor. He has been unlucky with injuries and his loan at Birmingham. Hopefully it doesn’t happen.

With City flying high and needing midfield reinforcements who can hit the ground running, this seems a bit of an odd move if it happens.
I like Walsh, he's a cracking little footballer, so good luck to him if he moves to Bristol, but I'm not 100% convinced this is likely to happen.

hes not 5ft 6, hes small-ish but not that small.
Bobby Collins was smaller than that, wore size 4 football boots the little General! my late father and older brother thought he was tremendous !
Hard as nails shaped Everton FC and led Leeds to domination after we sold him far too soon a tremedous player - so Walsh has time to develop size is not everything ask your wifelol!

I’ll be disappointed if he leaves. I rate him highly and think he has the ability to succeed at the highest level.
This! We’ve got a squad of bang average midfielders: McCarthy, Schneiderlin, Besic, Klaasen. We should be clearing them out and giving someone like Walsh a chance. This lad is class and a better player than Davies. At the very least we should be extending his contract and sending him on loan next season.
