Well, I have to say that I'm really looking forward to Everton getting back to winning ways on Saturday. I am also looking forward to having a tasty post-match Ham and Pineapple Pizza washed down with a pint of Stella.

Hopefully, we'll adopt a more 'shoot on sight' tactic for this game, as opposed to the 'get to the opposition penalty area and then pass the ball all the way back to our keeper' approach that we seem to have adopted.

we have to think it at least one Derby lol, but they as we know hardly ever turn up, Last time we even led a league game at Anfield was the one Beckford scored in, in 2011. supposedly we have led for a total of 36 minutes in 20 league visits.
I think the closest we came to winning there was when Rooney was put through around 2002, we haven't got close since. AJ missed a decent chance in 2007, Distin got a goal disallowed and since then we've drew twice, the Jags thunderbolt game and when Rooney got us a draw there a few seasons ago, when we were terrible. That game was crazy really, not just Tim Howards decision to come out and give away a penalty, but what happened before and afterwards. There was nothing really riding on the game, a draw was a fair result, yet you had trouble before the game and some of our fans ran into one of their pubs and stabbed somebody who was actually a Blue, it would of been awful if the fella had died. I can't think of anything like that happening in a derby that I can remember.

If we can pull off a shock win in this i will forgive them for Newcastle and Fulham. They owe us a win big time though either way.

No doubt the RS will be on top form, get all the luck and we will help kick start them into a good run again. We are very obliging like that.

Do em please blues.

Where’s Barry Thommo when we need his words of wisdom to comfort our pre-Derby nerves?

Anyhow, going for 1-0 with a majestic strike from Iceland, followed by a volcanic middle-finger salute to the haters. Viva Reykjavik.

And Pickers or Josh King to maim Jockey-boy Robertson.

challange there is salah switches positions so fluidly -
Mo Salah is not too keen on passing and nearly always likes to cut inside for a spectacular type shot into the top corner; we'll need to try and keep forcing him out wide in the hope he'll get frustrated and become less effective etc... should be easy enough to do.

That's funny because I absolutely won't.

Sky already stoking the fires for Saturday by uploading part one of a 2 part video on Youtube of various red card incidents during the Prem era, looking at some of them they rank from the harsh (Arteta in the 1-3 Christmas game) to the crazy (the scraps between Unsy and Fowler and Jeffers and Westerveld) to the reckless (Shandy Andy's elbow on Alonso)

Not confident at all. Expect nothing and we might be surprised. We can score if we believe but keeping them out and their pressing style will be very very tough. I'd take any kind of draw here and now but fear the worst. Just hope we can bring some of the spirit we had against United away.
