He’s been scoring for u23’s and Dyche must fancy him to work harder defensively than Danjuma.

I think the most striking thing about Dobbin´s cameo was that he was preferred above Danjuma.

Not as if we wont need both with the run of games we have in the next month.

I’d put him above Danjuma on the depth chart right now personally

Manager clearly has a set of players he can trust to do the hard work, and Danjuma isn't in it at the moment.

Which is fine by me.

Does anyone know if Dyche was asked about bringing Dobbin on instead of Danjuma? Really ballsy move to be fair to him.

Although he replaced Harrison , for me Dobbin is a natural replacement for Doucoure, not that Doucoure looks like he ever needs taking off though. Dobbin has great pace but he’s not a winger , he’s at his best when he comes inside and attacks defenders. His goal for the u21s was a good example , cutting inside , carrying the ball , finding the corner with his right foot. His goal today was actually with his weaker left foot, great technique that.

Yep , too good for the u21s, but starting and scoring on Tuesday night for them meant he was sharp and confident today, maybe the difference between scoring a great goal and putting it over the bar, who knows.
