Agreed, let's not get carried away, a bad performance on Saturday will bring us back to earth with a bump.

Having said that, I do have a good feeling about the rest of the season. The squad is good, and for once we have a real cutting edge up front. Jelevic to be top PL goalscorer? He might not be too far away.

We'd have to be complete bulbs to get too carried away. Younger fans have never seen success and have had to put up with some absolute dross in the last 20 years. Auld arses like myself have seen a bit of everything and know it can all go tits up with a couple of injuries or suspensions.

It is nice to have the feel good buzz around the club again though.

Nothing wrong with optimism, no ones really suggesting we are going to win the league, but I happy dreaming of higher than 7th or hell just a good start for a change would do.
