Why not get carried away? Serious question. I know people always say "don't get carried away" like it's some universal truth that can never be questioned. It's not like I'll hang myself if things don't work out FFS. I get the whole "you'll be more let down when they lose" thing in some respect but I don't know if it's really true. I think we might all be better off if we got carried away every now and again.

EDIT: Wrote this when the thread had two replies but forgot to post it ... very happy to see some fellow Evertonians have the same thought that getting carried away might not be all that bad.
