Different type of defender imo.

Anyway the two of them together made the best CB partnership I have seen at Everton, i'd take him back straight away.

People seem to forget how much money was available for him. If anyone else had the choice they would have done the same thing. You try turning down an extra 1k per week never mind 20-30 or however much it was.

Played great last season, then this season he had a few dodgy moments and he gets dropped by Mancini - who still hasn't really decided what his 1st team is yet...poor management!

As to signing him if they want rid. He can come back for the standard rate that fits in with our wage structure, he can't be short of a few bob by now...Do you want to play every week or look at your city wage slip...your decision.
