Lescott....

Depends on how City value him. For £4million you could get at least one quality defender.

Lescott is top drawer when he wants to be mate. I really don't think you'd easily find a centre half of his quality for £4m, if at all. For comparison Moyes bought Heitinga and Distin for £4m a piece, one has been a failure and the other is good but not as good as Lescott.

You could maybe get somebody as good as Lescott for that money, but when we haven't got loads of cash to burn i'd rather buy a sure thing, a player who we know was boss for us in the past and would slot straight back into the back line.

He's defo quality mate but I'm not sure I can forgive him.

It is hard to find a quality CB for £4m but there are some out there for around that price range. Moyes is quality for getting players on the cheap.

A tad harsh!

A loss of form doesn't make you a failure mate. People forget what a colossus he was last season.

it really isn't. he's been a terrible signing considering he's given us one good season of service for £6m, he seems to get bullied by just about any type of striker there is. he had a pretty good rep when he came here, he has been a failure

TBF if he came back for the reported 4mill it would be some peice of buisness. 20 mill give or take for Lescott, 5 mill for Distin while Lescott was away, 4 mill for Lescott before Distin retires. 9 mill in total with a good 10 mill banked after the shouting.

Nice.

Have to say despite some great spells, pound for pound Jonny H hasnt been worth it for me. You have to remember hes on 55 k a week, thats a hell of a lot of wedge. While i think hes always been a bit mercenery.

I would love him back, good player.

I saw him Monday morning on his way to training, he was behind me in the traffic. Took great joy on giving him the old '2 nil' sign. He smiled, nodded sped off.....flash cart.
