Yep, lets just stick with them.
Are you saying they're not good lad ?
And Distin is 35 and still fine, Lescott being 30 isn't a big deal for a centre half.

My memories are pretty vague on it, but something happened on the pitch (?) one time we played City and Seamus was fuming at Lescott for some reason. Neville tried to calm him down by saying "he's a mate" and Seamus apparently said "he's no mate of mine" haha.
<3 Seamus.
I thought it was more like 'he's not my ****ing mate'!
It's not so much love as a practical understanding that a CB of his quality isn't that easy to attract to a club like Everton (sad but true). Wasn't his return to the City squad a pretty big driver to their improved form at the end of the season last year? He's a CL quality defender who has fallen out of favour with a coach who is known for making some odd defensive decisions.Don't get all the love for him from our fans after what happened a couple of years ago. He wanted the money so let him rot in the City team as far as I'm concerned. There are plenty of other quality defenders out there for his price.
Just like Rooney ...on SSN with the england squad shown Lescott stood with Baines and Osman talking and laughing deffo think he is coming back in the summer with him no longer first choice at citeh.
We could possibly take him back, it worked with Pienaar but I'm not sure Lescott would make the same impact. It's not so much love as a practical understanding that a CB of his quality isn't that easy to attract to a club like Everton (sad but true). ... and that's without mentioning that fact we know he can play well alongside Jags.
I'm not sure what his price would be or if he'd even want to come here but I'd take him back without hesitation. Doesn't mean he's above Baines on my love scale but we are not a club in a position to be that picky about rejecting a top quality CB.
Could care less about him being 30/31 either. I know people are obsessed with youth and promise but the simple fact is we cannot afford to buy top quality players who are 24-26 years of age. We take them at 30+ or we get worse players who we hope might get better.

Depends on how City value him. For £4million you could get at least one quality defender. Not the price we'd pay for Lescott there aren't.
You sure about that now mate?Yeah 15 mill and Michael Johnson, id begin to think about it.
Its on radio city which is the radio version of triball football, clearly not true! Phew!

Age doesn't matter for defenders IMO, defenders could go until they reach 40. And Lescott still has plenty of years left in him.
Moyes probably would revive his career because he's good at doing that but we can't be doing it to every player that have left for money and that have realised the grass isn't always greener.
