He's a top quality CB.
Heitinga is putting in pathetic, half-arsed shifts week in, week out. I'm not going to refuse a superior defender in Lescott on the basis of him doing that once.
Not really, maybe I'm a bit more naive or cynical, but he has earnt millions at city, and a premie league trophy, I doubt going to play at Everton will feel demeaning.
LOL at the moral high ground being taken.
Do you still not know how modern footy works?
Heitinga is out of form. He's always the last one to stay behind and clap the fans. It's not coz he's not arsed. Every player has a patch like his.
Lescott threw the match coz he was in a strop. Again, if you weren't there then you dont really know what it was like. If you were, then you should know better. Never in all my years as an Everton fan have I seen what he was like that day. You can forgive players being off colour, or quite simply gash, but you cant forgive his ****ty attitude.
You're not talking about Vietnam or 9/11 mate, don't be melodramatic.
He was a tit on that day. But I'm not arsed. Heitinga is a tit, but at least Lescott might actually put in a decent shift -- which I believe he would if Moyes thought it wise to re-sign him.

He's a tit and I dont want him back. Probably my most hated player along with Suarez. Not gonna change my opinion.
I don't expect you to, but "Again, if you weren't there then you dont really know what it was like. If you were, then you should know better" is more about my opinion than yours. I have mine, and I don't think you should try and invalidate it because Lescott hurt your feewings.

I remember the fans clapping Lescott in pre season and that arsenal game, wanting him to stay.
But no, he put his transfer request in, didnt want to play at the start of the season, upset the team leading to a 6.1 embarrassment.
Then he left and said it was the best move hes done in his career.
But yeah, open arms and that.
