If lescott sits on city's bench from now on he can wave his England career goodbye. He'll know that and after going there earning big money aswell as picking up a PL and FA cup medal, being 30/31 I would imagine he is sensible enough to know (as he did when he left us) that's its time for him to move on from city.

From city's point of view...the fee they bought him for plus the package they pay him, they could recoup around 5M of the fee plus save massive amounts of wages. No brainer really and tbh they need better than him and have the cash to buy.
