First of all, I've said from the beginning I'm not hugely excited about Fer and the amount quoted is a bit high.

Secondly, Diame has been absolutely amazing this season in the 5 or so games that I've watched.

He has, but he's been in the league for 4 years. Five appearances aren't going to change someone's opinion of him.
