Easy target, but he was rubbish tonight, his passing is either too short or to a players head (reminds me of Phil Nev). Surely we have better options availabl, it's 2016 and it feels like he's never going to go away.
 

Had a good solid game, worked hard and did a good job with the rest of our midfield.

Exactly this. He played very well today. Took the pace out of the game and showed his experience which at times we;ve been sorely missing. Knowing when not to keep attacking and when to just take the sting out of the game has been something we;ve missed and he's very good at that.

That was the noticeable difference tonight, we were much calmer. I think having Osman, Baines and Barry all playing was central to this.
 

He offers absolutely nothing anymore no matter where he plays or even if comes off the bench. Pathetic that he still gets any sort of game, I literally cannot wait until the day he retires.
