God help you if you know what some of the other players were on then at that time 45k per week!
It's all ridiculous really. I just hate when footballers complain about their earnings. You are getting paid to play footy for a living. Like remember when those nurses wanted footy players to all donate a weeks wages, and the likes of Lee Carsley complained like he was waiting for his giro to clear.

Can't stand the Osman hate
Given us 10 years of service and has generally been great for us
Love it when he's copped abuse online all week and comes on and scores a goal
+1 Osman support

Agreed. Don't get me wrong, not for a minute do I advicate him starting every week for us at this point in his career BUT I have no hate for him whatsoever, had some great moments and some not so good moments but gave his all for 10 odd years, often out of posistion just willing to do a job for the team.

Unless their top top notch players, many evertonian's imo don't have any respect for such players.

You can't fault his dedication to the club, and he does have great technique.

But for all his qualities, the only club ON RECORD (maybe others too?) who have tried to buy him is Derby County. That's how much the 'outside world' values him.

When he plays he usually creates something, unfortunately that's forgotten when he tries that rubbish little shimmy before trying to go past a player, who nicks the ball of his toes and runs away laughing. It's not worked for 10 years, turn it in lad.

He's not going anywhere, support him when he's on the pitch. (like all our players.)

You love when weirdos on the internet get proven wrong whilst they're just as happy with an Everton win?

K den.

How anyone can say Ossie is "crap" is beyond me,if you've played the game to even a limited level you will appreciate technically what a very good footballer he is,yes you can highlight his "faults" which are largely down to his physical makeup/dynamic which he can't really do an awful lot about, but you can appreciate how he has honed his skills and worked on his weakness's from when he was a kid.

Look at the votes (219 vs 39), that says it all.
It's mainly the negative posters that seem to have the time and the energy to post way more than the neutral/positive fans. The loudest screamers are always heard more often.

Agree totally

scored one of the best everton goals ever for me (v Larissa) tidy player, still got some great attributes, can be infuriating, cost us no transfer fee and played for 10 years. It wasnt his fault he was played in a position that wasnt his best.

Nobody tried to sign Scholes? Maybe he was crap.

He wasn't good enough for a Champions league team, but was good enough for Everton. Who else would even attempt to sign him?

We've missed him this season quite badly IMO.

I think Allardyce's Bolton were looking at him a few years back too.

Most other fans rate Osman, has scored many an important goal for us through the years. Had some weak performances but we miss him at the moment. Marmite man.
