Osman picks up 40 grand a week, bemoaned by the fans and regularly delivers sub-par performances. Now he has written a book, should be filed in the self improvement, how to be rich category. Igenerally admire players who stay with only one club for their career unless its because they would never get that wage with those talents anywhere else....

He started the move for the first goal against Wolfsburg with a smart pass out of defence. Not saying one pass justifies his place in the team, but the man has a very good eye for a pass, and is still a good player. Perhaps he should've moved on by now, but aim your complaints at Bob.

It really amazes me how much vitriol can be afforded to one player.

I actually don't feel vitriolic towards Osman, he is always being talked of as a skill player with strong technique and good feet,he no doubt wins more headers than he should, yet there is always a feeling that I can never quite justify that he is never going to amaze in any game. Thats probably true of most footballers, but for all the skills and talents should not be for him.

He's absolutely past it, that is not in doubt. But some people on here HATE him. Really hate him. I just don't get it.

As I say, don't blame him for being picked every week.

Bumping this thread, sick of the abuse Howard is getting, how many goals is this little runt going to cost us this weekend?

He actually started the move for the second goal too. #The Inconvenient Truth

For all the slating he gets...some of it deserved...Phil Neville was 100 times more gash of a footballer....Neville and his pitching wedge of a right foot can do one for eternity. He wears Osman PJ's.

Osman’s situation is also causing concern for Martinez, ahead of Saturday’s trip to Southampton. He has not played since coming off the bench against Manchester City on December 6 and has had his ankle in a protective boot. The former England midfielder was due to see a specialist for further tests and the fear is that he will require an operation.

Know that some won't be sorry to hear he is out but personally feel he is still a useful member of the squad and hope he isn't out for long, especially given the number of fixtures we have coming up.
