Came on and offered us a better balance to the team, no coincidence that Baines got forward more and looked like his usual self after he was introduced.

Although I was surprised Mirallas was the player to make way for him.
Mirallas has just got back from a bad hamstring injury though and this was his third start in 8 days, understandable not wanting to risk him overdoing things so soon after his return.

Yeah I accept that but I doubt giving him a further 10 minutes on the opposite wing would have made any difference (unless it was Mirallas who made the call), we needed a change clearly and that should have came at half time.

First time for a while Martinez has been indecisive and not reacted quick enough, he's not infallible and does make glaring mistakes. Eto'o was clearly unsure of his postion today and roomed around like he had the freedom of Islington and we lost all our shape and effectiveness down the right, it's real shame obviously because Spurs aren't great at the moment and we should have exploited that.

One good game against West Ham and he's in good form. Christ.

It's embarrassing how we put up with mediocre players for so long here at Everton. Take the West Ham game when Hibbert blazes one into row Z from 30 yards out. People were laughing and cheering ffs. If one of our actual talented players like Lukaku had done that he'd have been called a lazy useless pile of [Poor language removed].
