Aye, it was awful. Shocking from all involved on the other side to let the cross come in that easily to begin with, though. And I don't know why Stones and Baines were in eachother's position.

....he's clearly not playing well but he's at his mercurial best linking with a good footballer in front of him. Even before we were down to 10 he was isolated and I don't think I've ever seen him have to play so many long balls. The team have no shape, no 'buddy's' to bring the best out of individual talent.

Don't write him off yet.

Felt sorry for him last night. As he was applauding the fans at the end, a chorus of something like "Leighton got Bobby sacked" got sang and he just didn't know how to react.

Can't pinpoint a singular good game he's actually had since returning from injury, must be hard to get over, and having no gameplay whatsoever mustn't help the strategic side of things...

edit: oh and i don't remember the last time he took a good free kick, cross or corner..
