If it is true don't be surprised to see Gary Caldwell run on from the Paddock looking for a game for his former gaffer. I never understood how/why Boberto picked that lump of cow turd game in game out. I have predicted that of Martinez bought any other cb for Wigan theybwoukd have won at least 2 PL titles by now.

I'm all for playing youth but our remaining games are way too important to bring in someone with no premiership experience IMO. I'd prefer to move Distin there and bring Jags in at CB.

I'd worry about his lack of pace in that position to be honest. Not many wingers will get past Distin. Barry on the other hand gave away a clumsy penalty vs arsenal when a Ox took him on in the box.
