So we lose another player as the result of a Derby "tackle". Meantime the sewer rat is in full training after the "horror tackle".

Says it all.

Look at him
Naughtiest left-back I know
The sexy little ****

....surprised at the reaction to Oviedo here as I recall lots have been suggesting he deserves a place. I'm not convinced, but he is the obvious replacement. I'd be reticent to make 2 or 3 changes for the sake of 1, so I wouldn't be in favour of moving Barry or Distin to LB. The only other obvious alternative is Alcaraz, who I think will be a real acquisition but I'm not sure of his flexibility to play full-back. I can understand folk mentioning Garbutt, but the fact that he's out on long-term loan means he's way down the pecking order and unlikely to be recalled.

Anyone else reckon thats his last match for us?:(

...who knows, Mate. Personally, I suspect he's agreed to see the season out. This also aligns with rumours that Evra is poised for a move to PSG in the summer. Whatever happens I suspect all interested parties already know except us folk.

Hadnt heard the Evra rumour, but that all makes some sense. Hope you are right. Said it before, Uniteds issues are not with their LB this season, so why he is seemingly nailed on to go there either in Jan or the summer always bemused me, but if Evra is off, then I can see the point now.

...the Evra rumour was in BBC gossip this weekend, but it might be nothing. I do think its a very good point you make that if he goes it might not be to United. His form at times has been that good that he must be on the radar of all top clubs in the world. Lets all just hope he stays, as we want to keep our best players.

I remember when Baines was ruled out for a month two seasons ago. We scored 4 goals for 3 games in a row despite playing the likes of Gueye!

I'm not suggesting the same thing is nailed on to happen again, but the amount of flapping that occurs when Baines is injured is OTT in my opinion. I would obviously prefer him to be fit than not but I'm actually excited to see what Martinez does.

...just looked at the clip of Alcaraz including RMs interview when he signed for Wigan. Interesting insight in that RM says he had to make his move before others and sees the lad as a real winner desparate to succeed. Paraguyan hard man might be able to fill in at LB for LB.

More likely to see Distin shift to LB and Alcaraz in the middle to be honest.
