....sorry, Dave, this has come from left field for me but you indicated he’ll be a Judas to his faith if he joins Rangers. I have no idea of Baines’ religion, but perhaps he just fancies the league as a final pay day and a decent place to play footy.

I was up there recently, it’s partisan as far as the Old Firm is concerned. He’ll be outstanding up there.

....I have an insight, Brendan, as I was up there for the Old Firm a few months ago. I know somebody on the first team staff at Ibrox. Is the indication that Baines is Catholic? I have no idea. He’ll be a hit with the crowd for who he is, not what he is.

Sorry but they are both as bad as each other (and I say that with a Celtic bias).

If he goes I wish him the best, He’s been quality throughout his time here. Seems like a class act too.
