I honestly think the reason he hasn't played at Wolves is because the people running Wolves couldn't organise a witch trial in Salem

Been great for Hibs this year and inspired them to come from 3-0 in the Cup Semi. I reckon Hibs will sign him, but if they don't I say we have a look. He's better than Naismith I think

He hasn't played for Wolves because he hates it down there and he is the type of character that will run amock to get his way. He loves Hibs and is a massive Hibbee that's why heis playing so well. The whole racist thing was a massive ruse so that he didn't have to go back to Wolves.

Stay away from super Leigh, I genuinely think he would go mental in Liverpool. He needs to mature a bit more with Hibs (he might still stay with Hibs as Dean Saunders was sacked and they have to renegotiate the contract extension when the manager changes - I can't imagine that he will want to play in League 1 though).

Anyway, I have a sense that he will scorethe winner in the cup final and I cannot wait to be at Hampden to see him do it!

It's not his choice, there is an option in his contract for a one year extension. He's not the all round game to be a bigsuccess in the Prem. He needs to mature a lot before he gets anywhere near close to being a 20 goal a season prem striker. Love the kid, but he is a nut job and a big fish in a very small pond. Don't think he's as good as Steven Fletcher was at the same age and he is average prem at best. Just want Celtic to keep their dirty paws off him. Sick of losing top talent to them.

Would much rather have Alex Harris at Everton. He is pure class since he came in to the team (plus I went to school with him). Proper quick and great set of tricks, 2 good feet great delivery and cracking shot. The boy is going to be a star.

He's Scottish and he plays in the Scottish league. The law of averages suggests he'd be badly gash in the Prem. Face it, it is a cobblers league full of cobblers players, especially the Scots. Name me 5 Scottish (i.e. natives) players from the last five years to start off in Scotland and make it in the Prem (and you can't include Steven Fletcher as he has already been discussed).

The jury is still out on Jelavic. Started well, but turned into David Goodwillie this season...

*I fully expect to be vaulted when Jelavic and Naismith hot 40 goals between them next season

I'll be honest, I didn't watch any SPL football till I got SKY in 2003 so I have no idea whether the standard of football was better back then or whether it was the same as it is now

Yes. Shockingly bad. The Jocks I work with are in a perpetual state of despair at their league. They reckon the kids up there are more bothered about the Prem than their local teams these days - thanks to Sky. Less attention = less gates and less TV money etc.
