I hate hate hate starting out the season against newly promoted sides. This will be a tough one and I think Foxes will stay up pretty easily. However we got the players and should be able to do it.

Predicting Nugent gets 15 this year, but as a good blue he'll do his part to get us in the C-league.

id definately rather be playing someone like WBA or someone on our first away game.

Leicester have 19 cup finals this year and everyone the crowd will go mad for.

We need to be professional, be patient and nullify the crowd completely.

Its gonna be a tricky game and ill just be happy to come away with the points and worry about the performances as the season progresses.

They are deluded to judge us off our run out in thailand though...but fair play to them, you gotta love their optimism

After reading your optimism I don't doubt any of it and fully expect a solid Leicester performance, I think they'll take the game to Everton anyway. If Everton are at their best its only gonna go one way I'm afraid. On our day we are superb and better than anyone in this league. We have to be at our best and Martinez gets that into the players heads and will demand nothing less. We never write anybody off or underestimate an opposition, Martinez is a gentleman and is very respectful towards opposition.

I noticed a post here from Tubey who is from the Everton forum, which I'm banned from. I wrote some things which wasn't very clever and I started to get infractions for my general behaviour. I've learnt many lessons from my mistakes and put them all behind me. I would like to go back on there and be a forum supporter, I would even pay the owner £100 just to reinstate my account. Everton is my life and it would be good to be able to talk about them with other fans on a daily basis.

I think once you've been banned its impossible to come back from that. I would genuinely love another chance. I wouldn't risk it again and I would be constructive in what I say. I told them all stories which all were true but a lot of people thought I was on a wind up. I wouldn't tell lies but I understand now that my stories wasn't relevant to that particular forum. If I was allowed back I would solely keep my talk about Everton an various other off topic conversations but I vow I will never cross the line. I have a lot of respect for my other blues and I hope they can find it in their hearts to allow me back on. We are Everton, we are a family.

If anyone feels like pleading my case to the site owner I would be very appreciative

I think he's had about 10 new accounts mate, each of them banned due to the Nazi regime that @micknick has overseen.

oh god come on as if that many people fell for that haha. Vardy won't play I wouldn't have thought. Predict a draw but my head says we'll lose. Too weak defensively and your wingers are scary and seeing as we play two very attacking fullbacks I can see the game being very open and us being demolished!!

I know its Leicester's first game in the Premier league for a decade, opening game of the season, at home but i still can't see anything other than an Everton win.

We will ride out the gung ho first 20 minutes and then show them just why we finished 5th last season. Our lads will be ready.

feeling it now, feels boss.. know weve had a decent transfer window
/pre season even though the games has been crap but theres nothing like
watching us everyweek in games that have a purpose when its the break life feels completely
different [Everton] always in back off mine just frustrating, now were back on + i believe weel
