Player Valuation: £70m
Now I'm off out to celebrate, but I thought I would leave with this.

Who since the 95 win can we lend legendary status too?

Obviously players who played before and were legends can't be used. Ferguson was already a legend before the 95 final.

So who?

I would say Kevin Campbell was one, and now I think there is another and it's Tim Cahill. Not just on today's game, but just his overall committment to the cause since he arrived.

Legend.

Tim Cahill, take a bow son, take a bow.

Can I just say I think it's the wrong time for this thread. No one played badly today, everyone played their socks off and they all deserve equal praise.
Let's win something and then decide who the legends are.

Dare I mention Neville? This guy is a 100% pro. I like the way as Captain he goes upto the ref with the Everton player. It seems to me that Neville is becoming Mr Blue.

Now you can shoot me down.

Why? Think you're spot on in your assesment of Neville. Love the way we're turning him into a blue. Think a lot of our current squad have the potential to bevome legends.

Not at all. How about the steely way he took his penalty and led this club to victory today. Call him a Manc or a Blue, he's the kind that will take you up the hill, that one. It's just words, anyway - it's up to the character of the man. Pip is ours, now - he carries the captaincy with grit and pride. We're fortunate to have him.

I will find a link I hope. But did anyone see the ITV interview with him. That bloke publically claimed that moving to the ****e is an insult to even consider(to even consider that may work for other people, but I understand what it means), and that he owes EFC his career.

Skippy is a legend.

As aside note he said he hadn't took a penalty in team competition since he was eleven and he missed then. He said it was something he had to do.(y)

Fukn DITTO to to that lad . Timmy is a God . Plus , Arteta hobbling around pre-pens . Another Legend . Oh Happy Day !!!!

In my eyes, Cahill is already a legend. The goals (whether headers or bicycle kicks), playing out of position, immediate production upon return from injury, signature celebration that others copy...

Campbell was a God-sent in keeping us up....so a very strong candidate.

I'll have to mention Jags. I am partial to defenders (as I play as one myself)... but he's been an outstanding performer for seasons now. Apart from a momentary lapse where he mis-placed a poor back-pass and a penalty miss in Florence, I don't recall any other occasion where Jags' reliability fails.

These players are my legends ..... since our 95 win.
