We did have to sell Lukaku though. Where are you under the estimation we didn't. He didn't to play for us and wanted out. So you wanted him to go for free?

Also i didn't realise he was sold a decade ago.

But anyway as for a left back i do agree we should have been looking a while ago. Pity the last two managers weren't on top of that, as in pushing it to Walsh as a need and a concern.

I don't agree with the lack of ambition thing. Poor management does not mean lack of ambition it simply means poor management.

I am pretty sure we have heard soundbites of how ambitious those that run the club are. Whether they successfully follow it through by hiring the right people and doing the right thing is another matter

Mahrez doesn’t want to play for Leicester by they haven’t sold him. You for sell your best players.

I’d rather Rom stayed for two years. Losing him on a free would have made no difference (apparently we have lots of money haha) but it’s not like we have wasted it anyway on Tosun, Klassen etc etc so yes I’d rather we kept him and lost him on a free
 
Luke can’t even make the squad which says it all not good enough

The fact we are persisting with Martina at LB (one of the worst signings in our history) suggests no ambition whatsoever.

And the rumours that they’re aren’t any left backs. How many footballers are there in the world. How many teams? No left backs is the biggest excuse ever. It’s the fact we have NO money and poor scouting

Simply because City didn't want to pay their valuation.

Then you're a 'kin moron, as are Leicester. On no planet is Rhiad Mahrez worth £95m, much like Lukaku was nowhere worth £90m. If you have an unsettled player in your squad who either refuses to sign a new deal (Lukaku) or refuses to want to be at your club (Mahrez) you sell them or risk a negative atmosphere around your dressing room

Honestly, do you live in your own world or a bubble where the only voice is yours?

Leicester will sell him. It is inevitable. They were playing hardball. They want to keep him until the summer and then he is off.

Oh so its now we sold him too cheaply and not that we should have kept him and let him go for free. Ok then mate haha!!
So you wanted us to get more than 94m or whatever it was but you still think we should have let him go free 1 year later haha!! Make up your mind.
 
If we had a left back, might be 3 up, Martina runs down the wing has a simple 10 yard pass and completely messes up because hes not LEFT footed
 
...ironic watching the game last night that Chilwell (who many on here have been calling for) was culpable for our two goals whilst Martina was far more effective.

I’m not a fan of Chilwell after seeing him make mistakes for England youth, but because he’s an orthodox left back folk just want us to buy him. I’d prefer Allardyce to wait and get the player in that he wants.

Let’s see how keeping Mahrez works out for Leicester. I’ll have money on him not kicking another ball for them.

Trying to keep a £90m unsettled striker for 2 years against his will, and then letting him leave for nowt is probably the most stupid footballing idea in the history of stupid btw. Thank the Lord you’re nowhere near the club.

He flatters to deceive at times Chilwell. He’s far better going forwards, he’d make a bloody good WB imo.
