You think we’d have learnt our lesson when it comes to needing a left back. One who can emulate Baines and make him second choice as he enters his winter years. Yet once again it looks highly likely we have failed. Not surprised, as this highlights as usual the lack of ambition at the club.

It now looks like we are going with Garbutt who’s showed very little so far and looks way off this level. We’ve seen with Martina that doing it the cheap way and patching up positions Does not work!

...according to Catalan outlet L’Espiortu, Everton had a late €20m bid for Espanyol LB Aaron Martin turned down. Apparently Espanyol we’re close to accepting the bid but felt they could get €30m for the 20 year old in the summer.

The decision to sell lukaku has not set the club back a decade or more like you said mate, to say it has is hyperbole at best and histrionic nonsense really.

Imo Kenny looks the better player of the two, chilwell is a decent prospect nothing more.
