Lee Carsley

Correct me if I'm wrong, wasn't Carsley relegated with every club he had played for before Everton? (or certainly many of them) Then he became part of our 'revival' and we loved him.

I think the real debate here is Maradonna, Messi or Super Lee Carsley. Maradonna and Messi never socred in the derby to be fair.

Carsley never scored by cheating.
Messi never took out Tim Cahill with a red card challenge and get away with it!

Good comparison Neiler, will be pos repping that mate!

Absolutely love Carsley!

Screamed at the ref and was booked 5 minutes into a Merseyside testimonial for Carragher last year, legend.

One of my top three favorite Everton players in the time I've been supporting the club.

Gave it ALL everytime he was on the pitch.

One of the few good things Smith done for us whilst manager .

The framed picture i have of the blues going mental after his derby winner will always be a treasure .

Lee Carsley , top bloke , top player .

I loved Cars, me. Him and Gravesen were a baldly dream team.

Oh and he is -- without a shadow of a doubt -- the nicest man in football. He does tonnes for charity and also, he's just incredibly down to earth and always had the time for fans.

I'll never forgive the kopite scumbags who taunted him with jeers about his down's syndrome child. If I ever caught an Evertonian chanting things like that I'd kick the crap out of them, but somehow I don't think I'd ever find a blue doing that.

I still think Real Madrid got the wrong baldy fella!
