Think he'd be a great manager for whoever, all who've worked under him have said he's an excellent man manager, which if he's sticking around International football, would be extremely ideal.

In many ways I don’t blame him for sticking with England. He was not able to represent his country of choice as a player due to all the competition for places in that era, so was kind of forced to choose Ireland. I can imagine he doesn’t want to pass up the chance to at least represent his country of choice as a manager one day

According to the Independent, talks between Carsley and the FAI have stalled, and the FAI are now moving onto their next target, Chris Coleman

Not even I can spin that mate, grim.
Apparently Carsley wants it, but wants an extra 250k a year and an extra 250 for his entire back room. FAI budget is 500k a year.
Not sure many aware of the problems with finance and goveremce in the FAI, they are up in front of a Goverment committee next week - they might not budge.
Somehow they’ve ended up on Coleman, funny - classic FAI, but grim, very grim.
