Bouncing it was
The park end
The paddock
The street end
Not sure about the enclosure
I was in the park end next to the saints fans shouting abuse the way do

We thought the Cup was on for us that night.

Saints were a top team at the time and we had brought them back for a replay after a hard fought draw at The Dell.

We had already beaten Arsenal and the RS in the two previous rounds and a home tie with City awaited in the 6th Round.

We had the game in our grasp then Imre rounds the goalie and.....blasts over a wide open net :(

I think Bobby MacDonald equalised for them and they done us in the replay

(as usual....these musings are subject to ol' Khal's memory and he might be confusing some of those games with the 1980 Cup run which ended so heartbreakingly at Leeds in the Hammers replay :coffee:)

As a matter of interest and I realise this point might have been addressed somewhere among the thousands of posts on this and the main New Stadium thread.

But is there a ballpark estimate of a date when we might actually play a league game in the new stadium.

I am absolutely refusing to die until I have been to see the Blues play in our New Jerusalem.
