Least favourite moments of the moyes era

I think Sporting Lisbon away was probably the worst, as it was unexpected (unlike certain away games, derbies etc.)

We were in fine form, the home games against Chelsea, Lisbon and Man Utd were exceptional, both in attitude and style of play, it was the best i'd seen us play under Moyes for more than the odd 20 minutes here and there.

We went to Lisbon leading 2-1, fielding a team which had Arteta, Donovan, Osman, Bilyaletdinov, Cahill and Saha all in very decent form and we literally didn't string two passes together.

We lost 3-0 and it was absolutely shameful, especially considering the lead we carried into the game, that was the the game that made me start to question Moyes' ability on the big stage, and look at the players above, this ain't like the 05/06 Champions League qualifiers when we had the likes of Kilbane, Davies and Beattie playing against the eventual Semi Finalists, we sent out a team that could rival Lisbon that night and it was a f*cking shambolic performance, and one that set the tone for many big games to come.

The way he handled strikers, turning natural-born finishers like Jelavic and Yakubu into basically wide men. And persisting with favourites week in, week out, despite how poor they were playing (Hibbert, Neville, Osman, Cahill circa 2011-12)

0-3 FA cup vs Wigan, most upset over Everton I've been in since I was a kid. Just cos I never saw it coming, prob the lowest I've ever felt at half time of any game.

That and the Semi against Liverpool for me in recent times have reduced my support from Moyes, I think he has overall done a great job for us but I'm not too upset that he has gone like others are - there are plenty of us here who haven't seen Everton win anything and I'd happily have swapped some of those 5-8th place finishes for a league cup win

"it's like taking a knife to a gunfight" before the Man City game. Completely giving up before the game, sums up his approach and why I wanted rid of him for the last three years.

Persisting with Neville rates high as well.
