We need to win tomorrow just to stay within a point of 4th. We're not levelling with 4th, we're not overtaking 4th, we're not putting some distance between ourselves and the rest. We're merely closing the gap. If that doesn't scream must win I don't know what does.

Whilst I agree with you. Neville said something interesting in a recent interview. Obviously as fans we look at games like last weekend against Swansea and tonight's as must wins given we class them as easier games and chances to gain points as apposed to harder weekends we have to come.

From a players point of view they seem to discount the opposition to a certain point of view and ie Swansea was a point gained against all teams apart from spurs. I suppose I see the point a little, it doesn't matter who ur playing, points are needed lost and gained immertrial of opposition.

Tonight we need a win to close up on spurs and widen the gap to arse, brom, L'pool. Doesn't matter who were playing.

I agree, it's not an opposition thing. That's why I've repeatedly stated I'm feeling nervous, because it will be a very difficult game - hopefully made easier by the managerial merry-go-round - that doesn't stop it from being must win; the points totals ensure that it is.

All the games are vital but we'll probably still get 4th if we fail in a few.. Why is tomorrow the a vital one?
A win against Wigan or Fulham would be just as useful wouldn't it? Why is Southampton the must win game? There are some vital ones coming up but surely this isn't one is it?
I mean wins against Chelsea, Spurs and Arsenal would more than make up for a loss tomorrow would it not?
It would be great and we should get a result but I won't burn my Everton kits like a few here seem on the edge of doing if we get a draw put it that way.

QPR can still win the league, mate.
