During pre season, I said all along we'd be finishing 5th again. So however unlikely at the moment, I'll stick with my prediction. (y)

We started slow last year as well. I think we will recover and end top 6 if we can stay healthy.

a few more quality signings threw the summer would of been a perfect way to add to finishing 5th but its not happened SO FAR
as long as we keep playing in europe im happy so 7th upwards

Although, depending on who we sign, we could become better than ever so..

It all depends on how much ground we lose until everone is fighting fit.
I'd Say 5th again if Billy is not the only signing before the deadline. Maybe as far down as 8th if thats all we get.

6-9. With our shaky start and Spurs good one I think they will be hard to catch since they can focus on the league the whole time while we have Europe.

We're going to fight with ManC, Villa & Fulham for 6-9 I think. Depending on which players we get in and how much we can rally until Jags and Arteta are back will determine our season.

Can't see us doing as well as last 2 years. 8th at best, but could easily end up bottom half if we don't get our sh1t together soon.

After the start weve had and being late to get new faces and some injuried old ones back. We have to be around 7th or 8th this time and betting on next year to start to flourish again. I think the [Poor language removed] will collaspe this term also they looked weak against Villa the other night. Alonso is a huge void for them. I see Arsenal competing with Chelsea. Spurs & City are going to make a run with Utd and the [Poor language removed] fading a bit. I'm hoping to stay ahead of Villa again.

I'm not going to read too much into our start. Played 2, lost 2. Liverpool played 3, lost 2. Man U played 3, lost one. So technically we're in the same boat as RS and one game worse off than United, plus we've played Arsenal - tougher opponents than they have faced. So if our start means we're already in trouble, so are they.

As Blue Wiz said, the question of when we get Arteta back will have much more impact on our league position than these 2 losses. I think we'll be in the top 6.

However, if we fail to bear Wigan I may revise my opinion.
