Half Time and amazing end to the halves with the leading teams. All looked like being scoreless at HT but incredibly it is

Record equalling 8 wins in a row - NOW BOHS on Tuesday!!

This was a huge result - if Derry had won, and then won their game in hand they would have been only 2 behind - as would Bohs if they won their game in hand.

Tuesday another massive game - the most important Derby match in many years..

I know I say it every week but that's the end of Caulfield surely

I think a parting of the ways is necessary now.It has been for quite a while. His management deserves to be remembered for the league title, and two cup wins, and not the last couple of games.City are a bit too close to the relegation trapdoor, for my liking at the moment!

I can't remember a match under Caulfield where I thought Cork played good football. It was always industrial, admittedly winning football at times. Once you stop winning games you're in trouble if you're not enjoyable to watch.

I was in the RSC and the team got full support for 90 mins but once the full time whistle went it all came out. It's sad that it's going to end this way, I have been a huge critic of his for along time but he deserved a better ending then this. We were awful again on Friday especially 2nd half. His recruitment had been catastrophic. I think finances are getting in the way of his sacking though

This is it, while we were winning nobody really cared, we lost Sadlier in the off season that was involvement in 40 goals and people said we would be fine because he didn't tackle enough or track back enough. People were so taken in by JC that tackling for a winger was more important then assists and goals. Those people have learnt a hard lesson this season

Yesterday's results

UCD 1 Dundalk 3
Cork City 0 Sligo Rovers 0
Finn Harps 0 St Patrick's Athletic 2
Waterford 2 Derry City 2.

So now for the big one this evening!!
