Long time since I have seen Cork City in a mess like this both on and off the field. Another disgraceful effort on the pitch, against 10 men for an hour and created absolutely nothing. JC is finished, the sooner they pull the trigger the better for everyone. FT tonight was tough on him, he dosent deserve the abuse based on what he has achieved previously but its football and it is inevitable that it will only get worse

Sorry to hear that NC. As you say he has done a lot but this is a time of rebuilding for City. Whether Caulfield is the one to oversee this, is a question for debate.

Rovers have suffered in recent years by changing managers too often. Bradley could have gone last season. Thank God he was given more time. I think Duff was influential in that!!

Galway United rock bottom of the first division, with 1 win and 6 defeats in 7 games.I hope they turn things around, but these are bleak times for the tribesmen now.

Hopefully today is a good day for the LOI and Delaney going will be a catalyst for change. Noel Mooney getting the CEO job would be a good start, as a former loi player will hardly allow it to be treated with the same disrespect it has been up to now

With the points in the bag from the extra games Rovers will be very interested in proceedings this evening!!

Dundalk v Bohs - any result here could be regarded as good news for Rovers although I much prefer Bohs to drop points. Dundalk really can't afford to lose this one. Also...

St Pat's v Derry
UCD V Cork City
Sligo R v Waterford.

I have my tickets for the derby v Bohs on 23rd. Arguably the biggest match between these in many years.

In between, on Good Friday, Rovers have a very difficult away tie in Derry, Bohs home to UCD and Dundalk at home to Finn Harps. Cork travel to Waterford.

Meanwhile, Delaney and FAI Board "on the brink" according to Independent website!!

Ooofff

Dundalk win 1-0 with 93rd minute penalty.

Pat's 1 Derry 3
UCD 2 Cork 1
Sligo 0 Waterford 0

Rovers 8 pts clear of Derry (2nd on GD) and Bohs who have one game in hand.

Dundalk 2 pts further back.
