1-0 Rovers HT.

Got a bit of luck with the corner as it should have been a kick out. However Bohs got a corner later in the half that was clearly off Mandroiu (born in Ballymun to an Irish mum and Romanian father). Mandroiu has thankfully been kept reasonably quiet, but he clearly has a lot of class.

Rovers solid enough, but a long second half ahead. Hope we keep 11 on the pitch - Finn on a yellow.

Getting very hot now. Bohs fans throwing things at Rovers players as they got ready for a throw in.

Nothing too dangerous I think, but tensions rising.

Ref has booked three Rovers players to none for Bohs.

Yessss! Greene with finish from great move involving Jack Byrne and assist from Finn.
Super goal, by far the best piece of play in the match. Delighted for Greene, very honest player. Have never seen us win an FAI cup final, hopefully we finally win our 25th cup. KOH.

As with Everton, I am fortunate to have been in my teens to early 20s during the 80s, so I saw the end of Giles/Dunphy and the coming of McLaughlin/Keely and four leagues and three doubles - I was at the Bayern match too!

Its been far too long since we lifted the Cup. I was at Lansdowne with my late Dad when Galway beat us in 1991, and at the Aviva in 2010 when Sligo did us on penalties. I was away for the 2002 against Derry, another disappointment.

Hopefully you break your duck at the Aviva on 3rd November!!

KOH !!!

Unfortunately Dalymount's capacity is limited to just 4,000 - it could have easily sold 12000 tickets I feel.

Atmosphere will be electric and I hope Rovers don't have any red cards. We had two in one of the home games against Bohs a few months ago, and of course that was another 3 points blown. Mind you, one was clearly shown by TV to have been completely wrong.

Hope your son and his pals support the :p Club from which Everton signed Peter Farrell and Tommy Eglinton!!

KOH !!
No, they're Bohs fans. They were over in Dublin last Summer and managed to get tickets for a game at Dalymount, kinda followed their progress ever since and actually went to see them play Airdrie a few weeks ago.

Was at the 2002 and 2010 finals. Hopefully this is the year we finally win the elusive 25th cup final. Would be great to beat Dundalk to do it.
